Gold Prices Reach Record High, Jump NPR 10,400 in a Single Day

Kathmandu – On Wednesday, the price of gold in the Nepali market surged to a historic high. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is being traded at NPR 295,100 per tola today, marking the highest price ever recorded in the country.

Previously, the price of gold was NPR 284,700 per tola. The rise in the international gold market has significantly influenced the domestic market. Globally, gold prices have exceeded USD 4,850 per ounce.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also seen an increase. Silver, which traded at NPR 5,880 per tola the previous day, has reached NPR 5,920 per tola today.
