Kathmandu — The government has blacklisted 11 companies for failing to deliver satisfactory work.
The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister issued a public notice on Monday, announcing that 11 companies had been placed on the blacklist.
Among the blacklisted companies are Shubha R.S. Builders Suppliers, Banke (headed by Rambahadur Budha); Navin Nirman Sewa, Achham (headed by Chhatra Bahadur Budha); JMC Construction Pvt. Ltd., Surkhet (headed by Mithun Chand); and Kashyam Nirman Sewa and Suppliers, Kathmandu (headed by Madhav Ghimire).
Similarly, Vishal Home Nirman Sewa, Udayapur (headed by Hombahadur Basnet); Jaleshwari Mahadev Yasvi Construction, Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu (headed by Sundar Shrestha); Sagun Fabrics Pvt. Ltd., Morang (headed by Mayank Shah); Galaxy Construction and Suppliers Co. Pvt. Ltd., Kathmandu (headed by Krishna Kumar Rai); Jalpa Nirman Sewa and Suppliers, Kathmandu (headed by Sitaram Shrestha); Mashta Bhawani Nirman Sewa, Dolpa (headed by Karna Bahadur Budha); and Shaheed Nirman Sewa, Arghakhanchi (headed by Shahidin Miya) have also been blacklisted.
Kashyap Nirman Sewa and Suppliers has been blacklisted for two years, Mashta Bhawani Nirman Sewa for one and a half years, while all the others have been blacklisted for one year.
During the blacklist period, the companies are barred from participating in any procurement process of public bodies.
