Kathmandu. Triveni Synthetic Yarn Industries Pvt. Ltd., operating in the Bara–Parsa Industrial Corridor, has paid the first installment of its outstanding premium electricity charges incurred during the load-shedding period for the use of dedicated and trunk lines.
After the payment of the first installment, the electricity line of Triveni Synthetic—which had been disconnected on Kartik 4—was reconnected on Thursday evening, according to the Nepal Electricity Authority’s Executive Director, Manoj Silwal.
Triveni Synthetic has cleared the first installment of the premium charge for using the dedicated and trunk line between Magh 2072 and Baisakh 2075.
The company’s total outstanding dues amount to Rs. 43.983 million. The dues have been divided into 28 installments, and Triveni Synthetic has paid Rs. 1.571 million as the first installment.
