Kathmandu: On Tuesday, the price of gold in the Nepali market reached a new high. Compared to the previous day, the price of gold per tola increased by NPR 3,100, reaching NPR 268,100. On Monday, gold was priced at NPR 265,000 per tola.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold prices have been rising steadily over the past two days. On Monday alone, the price of gold increased by NPR 4,600.
Silver prices also saw an uptick. On Tuesday, silver was trading at NPR 4,880 per tola, up from NPR 4,685 on Monday.
