Kathmandu — President Ramchandra Paudel met with the mother and sister of Bipin Joshi from Mahendranagar, who has been held hostage by the Palestinian group Hamas.
With the coordination of the Nepali Embassy in Israel, Bipin’s mother Padma Joshi and sister Pushpa Joshi had traveled to Israel, where they met with the President and Prime Minister, before returning home.
During their stay in Israel, Padma and Pushpa said they met the Israeli President, Prime Minister, and ambassadors of various countries, and that the matter had reached the international stage. They also requested further efforts for Bipin’s release.
Padma urged that her son Bipin was an innocent student and appealed for humanitarian efforts to secure his freedom. On the occasion, President Paudel assured them that he would make additional efforts for Bipin’s release.
