BSF Soldiers Celebrate Raksha Bandhan in Jammu, Remembering ‘Operation Sindoor’

Agency — Celebrating the success of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ Border Security Force (BSF) personnel observed Raksha Bandhan at the international border in Jammu. Students tied rakhis to the soldiers, sharing joy and warm sentiments.

Participants said the atmosphere was filled with warmth and emotion as rakhis were tied on the wrists of the brave soldiers guarding the nation.

Praising the soldiers’ courage and sacrifice, the students called them the “true brothers” who ensure the safety and peace of countless families across the country.

The soldiers remarked that having students come and tie rakhis felt like being at home, adding, “We never feel alone.”

According to participants, the Raksha Bandhan or rakhi-tying program not only honored emotions but also served as a symbol of national unity.

Soldiers said that the rakhis tied at the border reminded them that threads of love and respect can strengthen even the toughest frontlines.
