Kathmandu. Singer Durgesh Thapa is set to perform in various cities across the United States. For that, he flew to the U.S. on Tuesday.
A total of 11 concerts have been scheduled in different American cities. This is Thapa’s first-ever U.S. tour. His first performance will begin this Friday in Austin, Texas, and the tour will conclude on November 22 in Dallas, Texas.
According to the organizers, Thapa will perform in New York, Baltimore, Columbus, Colorado, and several other locations, covering 11 stages in total.
The Durgesh Tour is being organized by Roshan Puri of R&R Groups LLC, Ganesh Pandey of Pandey Homes LLC, and Ashish Bhadel of AKB Company LLC. In addition, a non-profit organization named Peace and Beauty has partnered in the event.
The organizers have also called on audiences to purchase tickets in advance. They expressed confidence that, as this is Thapa’s first U.S. tour, there will be a significant turnout from Nepali audiences.
One of the organizers, Roshan Puri, said they were delighted to bring Durgesh to Nepalis living in America for the first time and that the concerts would provide an opportunity to bring Nepalis from different regions together in one place.
According to the organizers, singer Melina Rai will also perform at the Virginia show on November 1. In a video message, Melina said, “Let’s meet on November 1.”
