Kathmandu — Following a minor improvement in NEPSE, the stock market increased by 2.35 points today. On Tuesday, the stock market had seen a decline of 41 points. Today, the NEPSE index rose by 0.08 percent to close at 2,836.35 points.
On this day, a total of 320 stocks worth NPR 763,137,952 were traded with 21,657,706 shares exchanged. On Tuesday, shares worth NPR 933,398,481 amounting to 22,070,142 shares were traded.
Today, the Sensitive Index decreased by 0.31 points. The Float Index increased by 0.11 points, while the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.04 points. On this day, shares of Samaj Bin Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Mahuli Laghubitta, and Trade Tower hit the positive circuit.
Shares of Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited rose by NPR 215.13 to close at NPR 2,367.20 per share. Mahuli Laghubitta shares increased by NPR 148.64 to close at NPR 1,635.80 per share. Likewise, Trade Tower shares rose by NPR 95.63 to close at NPR 1,052.90 per share.
On this day, Thristar Laghubitta’s share price fell the most. Its shares declined by NPR 33.33 to close at NPR 847.77 per share. Reliable Samriddhi Yojana’s shares decreased by NPR 0.26 to close at NPR 9.24 per share. Similarly, Samata Laghubitta shares fell by NPR 29.37 to close at NPR 1,048.53 per share.
