Kathmandu – Russia has claimed that more than 1,300 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during its attacks on Ukrainian military centers. According to a report released by the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked military centers in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson. The report states that over 1,300 Ukrainian military personnel were either killed or wounded in these attacks.
The strikes reportedly destroyed tanks, armored vehicles, rocket launchers, electronic warfare stations, ammunition depots, and several other targets. The report also stated that Russian air defense forces shot down one missile and 217 fixed-wing drones.
However, on the same day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that there were 175 skirmishes along the frontline the previous day, resulting in approximately 920 Russian casualties. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force, missile units, and artillery successfully destroyed numerous Russian military targets. The Ukrainian forces also reportedly repelled several Russian attacks in the Kupiansk and Toretsk regions.
