Kathmandu — Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Vishnu Paudel announced that a state-of-the-art exhibition center will be developed at Bhrikutimandap within the next two to three years.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the ‘NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025’, which began on Wednesday at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu, organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA), Minister Paudel made the announcement.
Addressing the event, Minister Paudel said, “The existing structures at the Bhrikuti mandap premises will be demolished and replaced with a modern, organized, and attractive exhibition center. For this, we may seek consultancy services from the international market for design and invite international construction firms for the construction. The government is thinking at that level.”
He further added, “This is not just a promise in the budget but a matter of implementation. I cannot guarantee it within one year and it might not be possible within two years either, but even if it is delayed, the modern and state-of-the-art international-level exhibition center at Bhrikutimandap will be completed within three years.”
