Kathmandu — The Rastriya Swatantra Party (Rastriya Swatantra Party-Nepal or RASWAPA) has drawn attention in the parliament regarding the issue of two individuals named Krishna Prasad Nyaupane associated with the Language Commission for the past three years, where one person has been reportedly enjoying privileges despite not being the constitutionally appointed member.

During the House of Representatives session held on Wednesday, Member of Parliament Manish Jha described the issue as an example of how the country is being run recklessly, calling it a spectacle for some senior leaders who have been vocally critical of the government's governance.

He said, “For three years, one Krishna Prasad Nyaupane has been taking advantage of the position in the Language Commission while the constitutionally appointed person with the same name was not present. This exemplifies how the country is being mismanaged. This is a mockery for those senior leaders who claim the country is run recklessly. Is there so much confusion even in constitutional appointments?”

MP Jha clarified that the Krishna Prasad Nyaupane currently at the Language Commission office is not the constitutionally appointed Professor Dr. Nyaupane, who was nominated by the Council of Ministers.

Both individuals share the same name, district, municipality, and ward, but differ in appearance and qualifications. Furthermore, Jha demanded that Ramhari Khatiwada resign during the cooling-off period.
